Reservations are available for the annual Ashland University Hall of Fame induction and brunch, Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9:30 a.m. in the Faculty Room at the John C. Myers Convocation Center.
Those wanting to make reservations can do so by contacting the AU athletic department at 419-289-5441, or ordering online HERE. The reservations deadline is Friday (Sept. 14), and cost is $20 per person.
The 2018 AU Hall of Fame class features Vince Cashdollar (football), Brandon Cornell (baseball), Mary Kate Glowe (volleyball), Casey Jirsa (baseball), Jackie Mason (women's basketball) and Chris Peretti (wrestling).
Also being honored at the brunch will be Ashland's 2017-18 Student-Athletes of the Year – Andi Daugherty (women's basketball) and Dominic Giunta and Matthew Wilcox (football) – and the 2018 Eagle Forever Award recipients, Bob Potter and Tony Daniel.
The Hall of Fame induction and brunch kicks off a busy day of home events for Ashland University's athletic department, a day which includes the swimming and diving program's Purple/Gold Intersquad and Alumni Meet at 9 a.m. in the Messerly Natatorium, and the Eagle football team's 95th Homecoming game vs. Northwood at 1 p.m. at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field.
