Ashland University's athletic department has announced schedule changes for the two upcoming Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference basketball doubleheaders at Kates Gymnasium.

The Eagles' women's and men's basketball games at home vs. Davenport, originally scheduled for Thursday (Jan. 31), have been moved to Friday (Feb. 1) at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively, at home. The doubleheader originally was postponed due to Davenport's inability to make the originally-scheduled game times.

Ashland's home hoops twinbill against Grand Valley State on Saturday (Feb. 2) has been moved back from 1 and 3 p.m., respectively, to 2 and 4 p.m., respectively. The Faith Day ceremonies originally scheduled for Saturday during and after the doubleheader will go forward.

Ashland's women are 18-1 overall and 10-1 in the GLIAC, and will take winning streaks of 11 games overall and 49 games at Kates Gymnasium into Friday's game. The Eagles are tied for first in the conference standings with GVSU.

The Eagle men also are 18-1, 10-1, and have won five in a row going into Friday's contest. AU's men lead the GLIAC standings by two games over Davenport.
