Dr. Mark Hamilton is in his 22nd year as Ashland University's NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative.

This is Hamilton's 38th year at the university. Hamilton is a philosophy professor who has studied and written extensively about sports ethics.

As Ashland's Faculty Athletic Representative, Hamilton is active on a number of fronts. Questions on eligibility and NCAA rules and regulations are directed toward him. Hamilton is also a regular at the GLIAC meetings for athletic directors, institution presidents and faculty representatives.

Hamilton served as an assistant baseball coach at AU from 1981-88.

Hamilton and his wife, Pat, have two married daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson.
