High School: Devine lettered twice in baseball and twice in basketball as a prep athlete at Jackson High School. He was given his team’s Sportsmanship Award, Academic Achievement Award and Diamond Club Scholarship. The Polar Bears were state champions at the Division I level in his senior season, going 25-2. They were two-time Federal League champions while Devine was playing there, compiling a 42-10 combined record.

Personal: He was born Aug. 31, 1991. His parents are Dean and Kelly Devine. David is an actuarial sciences major with a business administration minor.
