2010: Gundlach appeared in 14 games last season as a freshman, making two starts. He was 2-for-9 on the season with a run scored and two RBI. Gundlach made his first career start on March 13 against Minnesota-Duluth. He also had his first career hit on April 2 at Hillsdale.

High School: Gundlach was a three-year letterwinner in baseball at Sandusky Perkins High School. He was named all-district player of the year and was named to the Buckey Scout Top 100 list. Gundlach was also named to the All-Sandusky Bay Conference first team in his final two years under coach Ray Neill.

Personal: Gundlach was born on Jan. 28, 1991. He is majoring in exercise science and coaching. His parents are Diane and Terry Gundlach.
