2010: Hilt was a mainstay in the AU rotation as a junior, making 13 appearances and 11 starts. He was 4-6 with a 5.53 ERA. Hilt struck out 51 and walked 24 in 71.2 innings pitched. He tossed a seven-inning no-hitter at Findlay on April 29, striking out a career-high 10 and walking two in the Eagles’ 4-0 win. It was the only no-hitter thrown by the Eagles in 2010. That performance came in the middle of a stretch in which Hilt threw 19 consecutive scoreless innings. On April 24, Hilt threw a five-hit shutout against Northwood.

2009:
Hilt pitched well during his redshirt sophomore season. He finished with a 5-2 record and a 5.64 ERA. The five wins tied for the third highest total for the Eagles. He appeared in nine games, starting eight of them. He finished tied for fourth on the team in innings pitched at 44.2. Hilt struck out 21 while walking 17.

2008: Hilt saw limited work before being redshirted his freshman season. He pitched in three games, starting two of them. Pitching 12.1 innings, he gave up 15 hits, allowed five runs, walked five and struck out nine. He finished the year 2-0 with a 3.64 ERA, including a 7-0 shutout against Assumption on March 7.

High School: Hilt was first team all-district, first team all-conference and a Team Ohio selection. He was the most valuable player in the district all-star game. Hilt lettered four times in baseball, three times in basketball and twice in golf.

Personal: Hilt is the son of Jeff Hilt. His birthday is Jan. 22, 1989. He is sport management major.
