High School: Brooks hit .400 with a pair of homers, 35 RBI and 20 stolen bases his senior season in high school.  He played at Springfield High School. He earned all-conference laurels in baseball, basketball and soccer. Brooks lettered three times in baseball, three times in basketball and twice in soccer. At Mercyhurst Northeast, he set the single season record for runs scored.

Personal: Brooks is the son of Patty Brooks and Kevin Brooks. He is a political science/history  major.
