Baseball’s Key GLIAC South Home Series Pushed Up

Mother Nature once again has forced a change in the Ashland University baseball schedule.

Impending inclement weather on Sunday (May 1) has resulted in the Eagles moving up the start of their key Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division four-game series against Malone at Donges Field to Friday (April 29).

Friday's doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. The regularly-scheduled twinbill between AU and the Pioneers on Saturday (April 30) remains a 1 p.m. start. Saturday will be Little League Youth Day/Wounded Warrior Day/Senior Day.

Ashland is 25-14 overall, 16-4 in the GLIAC and 12-2 in the South. The Eagles are one game ahead of Grand Valley State in the overall conference standings, and one game ahead of Malone (23-17/15-7/12-4) in the South standings.
