GAME TIME CHANGE: Eagles, Mules To Play 10 A.M. Wednesday

CARY, N.C. – Due to forecasted storms on Wednesday (June 5), the Ashland University baseball game against Central Missouri has been moved to 10 a.m. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

The NCAA Division II World Series elimination game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but was moved up by the NCAA Division II Baseball national committee because of rain forecasted later in the day.

The winner of the game will play Colorado Mesa on Thursday.

The Eagles lost to Central Missouri in the World Series opener, 9-4, on Saturday, then posted an 8-3 win over NYIT to eliminate the Bears on Monday. Colorado Mesa is undefeated and would need to be beaten twice by Ashland or Central Missouri for either to play for the championship.
