2013: Bloom saw action in only one game, a 13-total-tackle effort as a starter at Wayne State (Sept. 14)...missed the majority of the season due to injury.

2012: Maintained his level of play from the 2011 season and remained one of the most action defensive players in the nation...named an honorable mention All-American by the Beyond Sports Network...named first team All-GLIAC..was a member of the Ohio College Football First Team and was a Daktronics Second Team All-Region choice...had seven games of 10+ tackles...had a career-best 17 stops (seven solo) with a sack (24 yards) and a forced fumble at Tiffin (Nov. 3)...was in on 16 stops (13 solo) with a sack against fifth-ranked Wayne State (Sept. 7)...against Lake Erie (Sept. 29) had 10 tackles (five solo), 2.5 tackles for loss (four yards), a fumble recovery he returned 30 yards and an interception he returned 26 yards...led the team in tackles and tied for the team lead in interceptions, fumble recoveries and solo tackles...was seventh in the GLIAC in tackles per game (9.7)...tackle total was the highest at Ashland since the 2008 season.

2011: Bloom had a breakout season and was named second team All-GLIAC...was one of the most active linebackers in the conference and finished second in tackles per game (9.9)...Bloom had five games with 10 or more tackles...reached his season high of 14 tackles twice - at Northwood (Oct. 1) and Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 20)...reached double digits in tackles in four of the last five games and had 13 stops (five solo) against sixth-ranked Wayne State...was the first AU player to record 100 tackles in a season since Tom Brenner had 126 in 2008...named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team as an exercise science major.

2010: Bloom enjoyed a solid freshman campaign…he posted a season-high three tackles three times – at Findlay (Oct. 30), at home with Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 23) and at home against Tiffin (Oct. 9)…he also had a sack at Findlay…Bloom picked off the first pass of his career at home against Lake Erie (Nov. 13) and returned the theft three yards.

High School: The active linebacker was named first team All-Ohio in 2009…he was named the district defensive player of the year…Bloom was a two-time, first team all-district pick and a two-time, first team all-league selection…in 2009, Bloom had 107 tackles…he was in on 108 stops as a junior…earned three letters each in football and wrestling and two citations in track and field…Bloom had over 100 wins in wrestling…he played on a Napoleon football team that claimed two Greater Buckeye Conference championships…with Bloom in the lineup, Napoleon reached the regional semifinals in 2007 and 2009.
