2013: Olszewski stepped into a starting role as a redshirt freshman, starting nine of 10 games at linebacker...finished fourth on the defense in total tackles (68, 24 unassisted, 44 assists)...also recorded four tackles for loss, a sack, an interception, a team-high two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles...his two top tackle games came at the end of the season - 10 total at Findlay (Nov. 2) and 11 total at home vs. Tiffin (Nov. 9).
2012: Was redshirted.
High School: The linebacker was a two-time second team all-league selection...was a two-time special mention Columbus Dispatch all-metro team pick...named special mention all-district twice...played on a team that went 8-2 and went to the state playoffs for the first time in school history...holds school records for most passing touchdowns in a game, most passing passing touchdowns in a season, most career touchdown passes and most career passing yards...also holds the school mark for the longest touchdown pass...lettered three times in football.
Personal: Olszewski's parents are Jeff and Michele Olszewski. His father was a quarterback at Tennessee...has a sister who plays basketball at Austin Peay and another sister who played soccer at Memphis and now coaches soccer at Walsh...is a special education major.
