2013: Thompkins was fourth on the team in receptions (12) and third in receiving yards (167)...played in nine games, starting six...caught season-high of three passes at home vs. Ferris State (Sept. 21) and at Walsh (Oct. 19)...had a season-high of 90 receiving yards at Wayne State (Sept. 14).

2012: Was sixth in the GLIAC in receptions and 15th in yards per game (53.2)...had four games of five or more receptions...caught a career-high eight passes for 80 yards against fifth-ranked Wayne State...tied that career high with eight receptions for 78 yards at Ohio Dominican (Oct. 6) and...had a career-best 120 receiving yards on six receptions at Ferris State (Sept. 15)...was second the team in receptions and receiving yards...had a 53-yard grab, which was AU's second longest of the season and the longest of Thompkins' career.

2011: Thompkins was second on the team in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches...caught four or more passes in a game five times...hauled in a season-high five passes against Ohio Dominican (Nov. 5)...reached his season high of 78 yards receiving twice, at Hillsdale (Sept. 17) and at home against Northern Michigan (Sept. 24)...his 48-yard grab at Hillsdale was his longest reception of the season...had nine receptions in the final two games of the season.

High School: Thompkins was named first team All-Stark County and first team All-Northern Buckeye Conference in 2010…as a senior, caught 77 passes for 1,089 yards and 14 touchdowns…established a state record for receptions in a game (19)…Thompkins lettered three times in track and field and twice each in football and basketball.

Personal: The wide receiver is the son of Eric Thompkins Sr...Thompkins is also a sprinter on the AU track and field team.
