Ashland Eagles Enter AFCA Top 25

The Ashland University football team is ranked #24 in the country in this week's American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) division II coaches' poll. This is the first time the Eagles have been ranked in the top 25 since week one of the 2013 football season.

Last week, the Eagles defeated Saginaw Valley State 38-7 which vaulted them from "receiving votes" and into the top 25.  The Eagles sit at 5-1 on the season, only losing to the seventh ranked Ohio Dominican Panthers. Ashland is one of four GLIAC schools situated in the AFCA top 25.

On Saturday, the Eagles will travel to Hillsdale to take on the Chargers. The game is slated for a 2:30 pm.
