Ashland University senior left guard James Triplett is a second-team selection on the 2014 Daktronics All-Super Region Four team, released Wednesday (Dec. 3).
Triplett, a 6-foot-4, 293-pounder from Newark, Ohio, was a three-year starter at left guard for the Eagles. He was the leader of an offensive line which helped AU average 36.2 points and 461.7 yards of offense per game, and allowed just nine sacks in 10 games.
Earlier this offseason, Triplett earned first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors.
