Ashland University's 2015 home football schedule promises to be exciting in many respects.
The Eagles, 8-2 overall and 8-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2014, will play five times at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field in GLIAC action this fall. Ashland's home slate features teams with a cumulative 2014 mark of 35-22, and two - Ohio Dominican and Michigan Tech - who reached the NCAA playoffs last fall.
While AU will be chasing its second GLIAC title in the last four seasons on the field, there will be plenty for fans to enjoy surrounding the games.
Highlights of the 2015 football promotional schedule include all first responders and military members getting free admission with appropriate identification on Sept. 19 against Ohio Dominican, Ashland's second-place finish in the 2014-15 Division II Learfield Sports Directors' Cup celebrated on Sept. 26 against Findlay, Homecoming on Oct. 17 against Hillsdale, Senior Day ceremonies on Nov. 7 against Michigan Tech and more.
