Sophomore tight end Adam Shaheen, junior right guard Zachary Douglass, junior tailback Vance Settlemire and junior inside linebacker Brandon Gency all received all-region recognition.

- Shaheen posted 70 catches for 803 yards and 10 touchdowns in the best season by a tight end in Eagle history. - Douglass, a two-year starter along the Eagle offensive line, graded out at 91 percent and had 78 takedowns during the regular season. He, too, was an All-GLIAC first-team choice.

- Settlemire, also an All-GLIAC first-teamer, set AU football records with 19 touchdowns (13 rushing, six receiving) and 114 points. He ran for 1,116 yards and caught 31 passes for 333 yards.

- Gency, a first-team conference performer, led Ashland with 103 total tackles (59 solo) and 10½ tackles for loss while adding two interceptions and 1½ sacks.
