Ashland University's football team ends the 2015 season at No. 10 in the final American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll of the campaign, released on Monday (Dec. 21).
The Eagles (10-1) earned their second undefeated regular season in the last four years, while winning three games at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field against nationally-ranked teams. AU also won a share of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, its second GLIAC crown, and advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason for the sixth time in program history.
Ashland also achieved its highest-ever ranking in the AFCA poll of No. 3 during the 2015 season.
The Eagles join Grand Valley State (fourth) and Ferris State (sixth) in the final 2015 AFCA poll, giving the GLIAC three Top 10 squads.
