Ashland University sophomore tight end Adam Shaheen hasn't played a down in more than two months, but he continues to pile up 2015 postseason awards.
Shaheen earned a spot on the 2015 D2Football.com All-America Team has an honorable mention choice. He turned in the best season in Eagle history for a tight end, catching 70 passes (third-most in AU football history) for 803 yards and 10 touchdowns.
This latest honor adds to the list of postseason laurels for Shaheen, which has included:
- Don Hansen All-Super Region Four second team
- Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Excellence Team
- American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' All-America Team
- College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) Academic All-American Division II second team
- All-GLIAC first team
In the final D2Football.com Top 25 poll for the 2015 season, the Eagles were ranked No. 10.
