2015: A regular in the defensive line rotation, making 19 total tackles (seven solo) and adding 2 1/2 tackles for loss and 1 1/2 sacks in 11 games.

2014: Worked his way into eight games as a true freshman, ending the season with three total tackles (one solo, two assists).

High School: Hoppel was first-team all-conference and All-Stark County in 2013…Was honorable mention all-state…Played on a 2012 team that reached the postseason…Lettered three times each in football and wrestling.
