Two nights before Ashland University's football team begins the 2016 season, Eagle fans will have the opportunity to interact with players and coaches at Football 101 on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field.
Football 101 will be an interactive way for fans to learn what it takes to be an Eagle. Some of the highlights will include a "meet and greet" with players and coaches, live drills on the stadium field, exclusive giveaways and free pizza provided by Donna D's Pizza.
Ashland, ranked No. 3 in the Lindy's Sports Division II Top 25 preseason poll and No. 8 in the Sporting News Division II Preseason Top 25 poll, will begin 2016 with a home game on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. against Mercyhurst.
