After each Ashland University football victory in 2017, Ohio Health will announce a Player of the Game.
On Saturday, Sept. 9, in the 2017 home opener at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field, junior tailback Andrew Vaughn ran 21 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and caught five passes for 82 yards, in the Eagles' 47-21 win over Ohio Dominican. His 206 yards from scrimmage are a career high, and his touchdown runs were from seven yards out in the first quarter and two yards out in the second quarter.
