After each Ashland University football victory in 2017, Ohio Health will announce a Player of the Game.
On Saturday, Sept. 23, in a 20-3 win over No. 2-ranked Ferris State at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field, senior cornerback Dale Irby intercepted a pass, returned three punts for 31 yards and made three total tackles. Irby's interception came with 6:55 left in the game as the Bulldogs were attempting a late comeback, and was the fifth of his Eagle career.
