After each Ashland University football victory in 2017, Ohio Health will announce a Player of the Game.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, in the 13th-ranked Eagles' 38-24 win at Tiffin, junior defensive end James Prater Jr. turned in one of the top all-around single-game defensive efforts in recent AU football memory. Prater recorded seven total tackles, five tackles for loss, 2½ sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in the victory.
