After each Ashland University football victory in 2017, Ohio Health will announce a Player of the Game.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, in the 11th-ranked Eagles' 34-31 win over Grand Valley State at Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field, senior kicker Aidan Simenc hit the game-winning 29-yard field goal with no time on the clock. Simenc also connected on a career-long 43-yard field goal, was 4-for-4 on extra points and hit a pair of kickoffs for touchbacks in the victory.
