Ashland University senior long snapper Travis Downing has continued his honor-filled 2018-19 school year by earning a scholarship from the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Downing was recognized on March 12 at the 31st annual Mike Cleary Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete awards banquet in Westlake, Ohio, for his $2,000 postgraduate scholarship. More than 400 people were in attendance at the banquet.
