Junior wide receiver Logan Bolin has had an impressive last 36-plus hours.

On Saturday (Oct. 5) night at Grand Valley State, Bolin caught the 52-yard Hail Mary pass that lifted Ashland University's football team to a 20-17 win at No. 9-ranked Grand Valley State.

Then, late Saturday and into Sunday (Oct. 6), Bolin's catch was featured on media outlets like ESPN and Barstool Sports.

On Monday (Oct. 7) morning, Bolin landed his first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award. In addition to the game-winning grab, Bolin finished the night against the Lakers with three catches for 94 yards.

Bolin leads the GLIAC in receptions this season with 24, and is tied for fourth in the league with 313 receiving yards. In the last two games, he has seven catches for 176 yards (25.1 ypc.) and a score.

This is the second consecutive time an Ashland player has been named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week. In Week 4, freshman tailback Gei'vonni Washington earned the honor.

Ashland (3-2 overall, 2-1 GLIAC) will return to Jack Miller Stadium/Martinelli Field on Saturday (Oct. 12) at 1 p.m. for the Eagles' 96th Homecoming Game vs. Davenport (3-1, 1-1).
