After each home Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory in 2017-18, the Donley Ford Auto Group announces a Player of the Game.
The AU men's basketball team used a 27-3 run to create separation in its 78-66 win over Purdue Northwest on Saturday (Jan. 13) afternoon at Kates Gymnasium. In the game, senior forward Marsalis Hamilton became the 27th member of Ashland's 1,000-point club. He scored a season-high 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting. He went 6-for-7 from the line and also had three rebounds and three assists.
The Eagles (14-3, 7-2 GLIAC) are currently on a nine-game winning streak and will head to Saginaw Valley State and Northwood this week.
