The Ashland University men's basketball team defeated Northwood, 81-57, on Saturday (Feb. 25) at Kates Gymnasium. Senior forward Marsalis Hamilton scored 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Eagles (19-9, 12-8 GLIAC) finished the GLIAC regular season in a tie for fourth place and earned the No. 4 seed in the GLIAC Tournament. They will play No. 5-seed Northern Michigan on Wednesday (Feb. 28) at 7:30 p.m. at Kates Gymnasium in the quarterfinal.
