Ashland University men's basketball head coach John Ellenwood will be a featured speaker at the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Clinic on Oct. 1 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Ellenwood, who will speak at 9:20 a.m., is featured among several coaches from across the college and high school landscape, including Ohio State's men's and women's basketball coaches Chris Holtmann and Kevin McGuff, Xavier men's basketball coach Travis Steele and Akron head coach John Groce.
Ellenwood is entering his 10th season as Ashland's head coach and is the second-winningest coach program history with 148 wins. In 2016, he guided the Eagles to their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1991 and has led AU to 19-plus wins in each of the last four seasons.
