Men's Golf 10th at Regional

The Ashland University men's golf team finished 10th Monday (Sept. 26) at the NCAA Regional Tournament hosted by Grand Valley State in South Haven, Mich.

Indianapolis won the team title by four strokes. The Greyhounds shot 589. Ferris State (593) was second. Grand Valley State (599) and Northern Kentucky (599) tied for third place and Northwood (600) rounded out the top five teams. The field included 27 teams.

AU shot 606.  The Eagles were led by senior Jay Overy (Grafton, Ohio/Midview). Overy shot 144. He shared second place with five other golfers. Drury's Shawn Vanderwal was the medalist. He shot 141.
