Ashland University senior Brendan Jenkins (Dublin, Ohio/Bishop Watterson) has qualified for the 2013 NCAA Division II men's golf championships. Jenkins is competing as an individual – the Eagles did not reach the postseason as team.

Jenkins will compete at the Central/Midwest Regional at The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, Wis. That regional tournament is being hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside.

The NCAA field includes 80 teams and 32 additional student-athletes competing as individuals. The regional competitions will be held May 6-8. At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 20-24 at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pa.

The other three individuals competing with Jenkins in Wisconsin are Cedarville's Jacob Forsythe, Logan Osborne of Southern Indiana and Nick Arman of Rockhurst. There are 10 teams in the regional. That group consists of Missouri-St. Louis, Wayne State, Ferris State, Indianapolis, Tiffin, Grand Valley State, Bellarmine, Lewis, Wisconsin-Parkside and Ohio Dominican.
