The Ashland University men's golf team shot a collective 301 on Saturday (April 16), and sit eighth after Day 2 of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships.
The Eagles made gains on Day 2, moving up from 10th place after Friday's (April 15) first round.
Three AU golfers stroked second-round scores of 75 - senior Austin Schreiber, senior Brandon Nixon and freshman Austin Kondratick. Kondratick and Nixon sit with two-day totals of 152. Schreiber finished Saturday with a 153.
Sophomore Chandler Walnsch sits at 156, and sophomore Frank Steffen sits with a 162.
The Eagles will return for the final day of the GLIAC Championships on Sunday (April 17) at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
