Eagle Men Finish 20th At Music City Regional

Ashland University's men's golf team finished the two-round Music City Regional in Nashville, Tenn., in 20th place on Tuesday (April 4).

The Eagles followed up their Day 1 score of 302 (+14) with a 310 (+22) on Day 2, falling from 18th place.

Ashland's score was three strokes ahead of 21st-place Cedarville, four strokes back of 19th-place St. Joseph's (Ind.) and 41 strokes behind first-place Grand Valley State.

The top finisher for AU was junior Gabriel Reynolds. He shot a one-over-par 73 on both days, tying for 22nd in the 120-man field.

Eagle sophomore Austin Kondratick totaled a 147, placing in a tie for 32nd.

Ashland freshman Patrick Steffen shot an 80 on Day 2, bringing his score to 156 for the tournament. He tied with two others for 92nd.

In 118th place was AU sophomore Cole Smith with a 168.

UP NEXT: Ashland's next stop is the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships in Nashport, Ohio, from April 21-23.
