Impending inclement weather forced the final 36 holes of the NCAA Division II Central/Midwest super regional to be played on Friday (May 10), meaning Ashland University senior Austin Kondratick's final rounds as an Eagle were compacted into one day's work.

Kondratick finished regional play at Hot Springs Country Club, Arlington Course, in Hot Springs, Ark., at 6-over-par 74-75-73—222. Among the eight golfers who qualified for regionals as individuals, Kondratick finished with the lowest 54-hole score, and overall, he finished in a tie for 27th place.

In the third and final round, Kondratick had three birdies on the front nine, posting a score of 3-under over an eight-hole stretch. For the tournament, he recorded six birdies, and was even par on par-3s, 6-over on par-4s and even par on par-5s.

Kondratick is the first AU men's golfer to qualify for the NCAA postseason in six years, and is a two-time first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection.
