Juan Fajardo is in his second season as the graduate assistant coach for Ashland University men's soccer.

Prior to coming to Ashland, Fajardo was a club soccer coach for FFC Fredericksburg Youth Soccer (2017-18) and a specialized soccer trainer (2017-18). His collegiate playing experience came at Virginia Commonwealth (2013-16), where he played in 63 career games as a defender. As a sophomore in 2014, Fajardo was named to the All-Atlantic 10 team, and was an integral part of VCU's defensive unit that allowed just 0.62 goals per game the entire season.

Fajardo, a 2016 VCU graduate with a degree in Sociology, also has played in the summer for the Richmond Kickers training USL team (2014-15), Honduras national football team (2015), Honduras Olympic U-23 team (2015), Portland Timbers U-23 PDL team (2016) and FFC Fredericksburg club NPSL (2017).
