Junior pitcher Sarah Alley earned the relief win, tossing 4 1/3 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. Alley is 5-0 with a 1.44 earned run average and is working on an 18-inning scoreless streak.

In Game 2, the Eagles got the only runs they would need with a three-spot in the bottom of the first. Menhart, Moore and Prokopakis each had two of Ashland's 10 hits, and Menhart had two RBIs. Junior pitcher Brittany Flanigan moved to 7-2 after allowing three hits and a run and striking out five in 5 1/3 innings.
