Eagle Softball Back In Division II NFCA Top 25

Ashland University's softball team returns to the NCAA Division II Top 25 this week, moving into the No. 25 spot in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll, released on Wednesday (April 15).

The Eagles (25-5) are in the NFCA poll for the first time since March 25, when they were No. 24.

Ashland is the only Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team in the latest Top 25 poll.

AU will play Wednesday in a GLIAC doubleheader at Walsh. The Eagles are fifth in the conference at 10-4 (.714), and the Cavaliers are fourth at 11-4 (.733).
