Ashland University's softball team is inching up the 2015 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional ladder, as the Eagles are third in this week's rankings, released on Wednesday (April 22).
AU, 32-6 overall and ranked No. 21 in the country, moves up from fourth in the initial Midwest Regional rankings released on April 15.
The top eight teams in each region play in the NCAA postseason.
The Eagles will finish Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular-season play on Friday (April 24) at Northwood and Saturday (April 25) at Brookside West against Lake Superior State.
