AU Softball Ranked No. 23 Going Into D-II Postseason

Ashland University's softball team is ranked No. 23 in Division II, as the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll was released on Wednesday (May 6).

The Eagles (38-8) have been ranked in the Top 25 for four consecutive weeks, and five overall in 2015.

Ashland is the lone Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team in this week's poll.

AU will begin split Midwest Regional play on Friday (May 8) at 2:30 p.m. against Truman (33-14) at the University of Indianapolis. The host Greyhounds are ranked No. 10 in Division II.
