The continued and anticipated wild early-April weather has forced Ashland University's softball team to turn its next two home doubleheaders into "home" doubleheaders.
On Saturday (April 9), the Eagles (15-16 overall, 5-5 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) will travel to Xenia, Ohio, to play Lake Superior State (4-22, 0-10) at 1 p.m. in a GLIAC twinbill. Then, on Sunday (April 10), AU will go to Beavercreek, Ohio, to take on Northwood (12-14, 3-7) at noon in another conference doubledip.
All four games originally were to be played at Brookside Park.
