The start of the 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Tournament at Marathon Diamonds in Findlay, Ohio, has been moved from Friday (May 5) to Saturday (May 6).
The tournament will also be single-elimination, as opposed to the original plan of double-elimination.
No. 5-seed Ashland will now play its first game against No. 4 Ohio Dominican on Saturday at 2 p.m. If the Eagles advance, they'll compete in the semifinals at 6 p.m. that same day.
The championship will follow a best-of-three format, with Games 1 and 2 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., respectively, and the if-necessary Game 3 at 2 p.m.
