AU Women's Swimming Earns Academic Award

The Ashland University women's swimming team has been recognized as a Scholar All-American Team for spring, 2011. The award is presented by the College Swimming Coaches of America.

The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All-America award to college and university swimming and diving teams that post a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher.  Last spring, the Eagles had a team GPA of 3.31.

The AU women finished fifth in the country at the NCAA Division II national meet in 2011. That is the program's highest finish ever. In 2010, the Eagles were 10th.

The AU women are coached by Paul Graham.
