Ashland University senior Maura Anderson (Lakewood, Ohio) has been named the CollegeSwimming.com swimmer of the week.
Anderson had two individual wins at the Eastern Michigan Invitational. She won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.98, which is a school record and an NCAA "B" cut. Anderson also finished first in the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.64. That was a school record and an NCAA "B" cut.
Anderson was part of the 200 individual medley that was third in 2:06.12 ("B" cut) and she was fourth in the 100 buterfly. Her time in that event was 56.12 ("B" cut). Anderson was on the second place 200 medley (1:44.59, "B" cut), second place 400 medley (3:49.65, "B" cut) and third place 400 free relay (3:26.94, "B" cut).
