Ashland University junior Hannah Mattar has earned the latest Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week award.
During a dual meet Saturday (Nov. 15) at home against Wayne State, Mattar took first place in both the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.36) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.88), and was second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.78). She won the 200 IM by nearly two full seconds.
Ashland will conclude the first-semester portion of its 2014-15 schedule Friday-Sunday (Nov. 21-23) at the Cleveland State Magnus Invitational.
