Mattar To Compete At Nationals In Three Events

Ashland University senior Hannah Mattar will finish her collegiate swimming career competing in the 200-yard breaststroke and the 200 and 400 individual medleys at the NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.

Mattar will compete in the 200 IM on Wednesday, March 9, the 400 IM on Thursday, March 10 and the 200 breaststroke on Saturday, March 12.

This will be Mattar's fourth trip to the national meet. In 2015, she scored enough points to not only give the AU women's team a tie for 21st place nationally, but also 52.5 points for the Eagles athletic program in the Learfield Sports Division II Directors' Cup standings. Mattar earned three first-team All-America honors as a junior.
