Mattar Finishes Career With 10th-Place Finish In 200 Breaststroke

Senior All-American Hannah Mattar finished up her career at Ashland University placing 10th in the women's 200 breaststroke at the 2016 Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.

Mattar rattled off a 2:16.16 in the finals, claiming her best finish of the weekend.

On Wednesday, Mattar placed 12th in the 200 individual medley, clocking in at 2:04.31. She also swam in the 400 IM on Thursday, coming home 19th.

Mattar earned 12 team points at the championships, giving the Eagles a 35th-place finish.

She ends her career as a seven-time first-team All-American at AU. She also holds four individual school records in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 breaststroke and 200 butterfly.
