Mattar, Reichard Earn CSCAA Scholar All-American Status

On the heels of both of Ashland University's swimming and diving teams being named Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), two Eagle swimmers have earned Scholar All-American status from the CSCAA.

Senior Hannah Mattar earned first-team Scholar All-American honors, while sophomore Grace Reichard is an honorable mention selection. Mattar has earned the award for the third time.

First-team honors are bestowed upon student-athletes who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and have participated in their respective Swimming and Diving Championships. Honorable mention goes to those who achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at a regional or zone qualifying meet.

Mattar ended her collegiate career with a 3.98 cumulative GPA, while Reichard sports a 3.98 GPA through two academic years.
