Junior Grace Reichard is Ashland University's newest College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honoree.

Reichard is a member of the women's swim team with a 3.99 cumulative grade-point average in dietetics, making this the sixth year in a row that a member of the AU swim program has received all-district honors.

She is the seventh Eagle to garner the award throughout the 2016-17 season across the entire AU athletic department.

At the 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, Reichard earned a bronze medal in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 23.61 seconds. That effort was a "B" cut standard for women's Division II nationals.

Reichard also won the 2017 GPA Award at Ashland's second-annual ASHPY Awards ceremony.

She and the other 12 members of the District 4 At-Large Team will move on to the Division II Academic All-American ballot. That team will be announced June 7.
