Windle Makes Track World Go "Wow," Again

AU junior Drew Windle won the 800 meters on Saturday (Apr. 12) at the George Mason Invitational. Windle's time - 1:46.91 - is a school record. It is also the second fastest time in all divisions so far in the 2014 outdoor season.

Windle has won the last two NCAA Division II indoor national championships in the 800. He is also the defending champion outdoors.

AU freshman Delainey Phelps put together another outstanding performance. She was third in the 5K. Her time was 17:27.87.

Nick Hall earned a provisional mark in the 1500. His time was 3:50.66.  He placed 14th.
