Ashland University Strength and Conditioning Coach A.G. Kruger added to his trophy case on Sunday (March 1) at the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass.
Kruger, a three-time United States Olympian in the hammer throw, won the weight throw with a best mark of 76-feet-9¾, 2½ inches better than the second-place effort. It was Kruger's ninth USATF indoor weight throw title, and his 14th USATF championship overall.
Former Eagle standout Kibwe Johnson took fourth in the weight throw (73-feet-11½).
